This web page is dedicated to one special part of Slovak history - to its castles. Slovakia had more than 200 castles, many of them still exist. Our goal is to give you as good as possible complete information about all castles, their history, placement, surrounding, maps of Slovakia with marked castles and also plan of each castle and information how to get there.
    If you speak Slovak, you can choose Slovak version which is on higher state of complexity. English version was started on February 17th, 1999 and is in construction now. Be patient and check our page in future. Recently, there have been some castle added into this language mutation. Check them out in the List. The others will follow.
